With a background in Development Studies and a Master’s degree in Media Practice for Social Change and Development from the University of Sussex, she brings a thoughtful, interdisciplinary approach to storytelling. Mitali is passionate about the medium of sound—combining her love for audio and music with a commitment to creating honest, reflective dialogue. Her work bridges the worlds of media and development, with a focus on stories that centre justice, identity, and lived experience. She believes in the transformative power of sound to foster connection, spark empathy, and shift perspectives.
