Taskeen Adam

Taskeen Adam is Co-Director of Open Development & Education, Senior Research Lead at EdTech Hub, and Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg. With over a decade of experience in international education research, her work focuses on EdTech in low-resource settings, inclusive education, open educational practices, critical digital pedagogies, and data-informed decision-making. Taskeen completed her Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge on addressing injustices through MOOCs. Her research underscores the ongoing impact of historical injustices in education. She is pioneering work on Decolonising EdTech, promoting equitable and contextually responsive approaches to education technology across geopolitically diverse contexts.
