Yvonne Tyree

Yvonne Tyree is a dedicated social worker with 25 years of experience across diverse teams, including youth offending, safeguarding, adult mental health, exploitation, and emergency response. She has worked closely with the Travelling community and currently manages a team supporting families from abroad—refugees, migrant workers, and survivors of modern slavery, trafficking, and honour-based abuse. Yvonne holds a specialist interest in trauma and has completed an intensive course in psychological trauma at Chester University. She is also trained in honour-based abuse assessments through Karma Nirvana, working alongside police colleagues. Passionate and proud, Yvonne considers it a privilege to work in social care.
